Dosing​

• We recommend dogs start with the formula of 0.1mg  per kg of weight to start

• If you only know the pound weight – divide that weight by 2.2 and you will get the kg weight

• Start with the closest level for your dogs’ kg weight.  It’s okay to be a bit above or below. IE your dog weighs 80lbs/36.36kg = 3.63mg to start

• Start with the closest level for your dogs’ kg weight.  It’s okay to be a bit above or below.  If your dog weighs 80lbs, you can start with the .25mL level = 5mg

• Give twice a day, with or without food, for 3 full days

• Monitor for signs of improvement and side effects

• No Improvement: Raise the level by 1/4 of the dropper more and give for another 3 days.  If still no change, increase by adding another 1/4 of the dropper, give for another 3 days, and again monitor.  Continue slowly raising until the desired results are present and STOP at this level.  While raising the level, do not exceed the level of 1mg/kg daily

• Improvement: Once the desired relief is seen, you have found their “sweet spot”. Leave your dog at this level for 3 weeks – 1 month, then slowly start to lower the daily dosage. Decrease by removing 1/8 of the dropper (both doses) and watch for the return of the original issue.  If all is good, decrease by the same amount again and watch for 3 days.  Continue to slowly decrease until you feel it’s a good level for your pet – no discomfort.  If you remove too much, simply raise the level to the last spot they were doing good at, and stay there. No one knows your pet as you do, and you’ll figure out what a good level is for them.

• Please note that every animal has a “sweet spot” or an amount of the oil that best suits them. To determine this, we rely on the pet parents to monitor their fur babies for side effects and to know when the desired effect has been achieved. While you are increasing your dog through various levels, if you feel like they are doing better, you can stop increasing their dosage and stay at the level you feel is working the best.
